The turn-around time was faster than anticipated and the image quality was excellent. I would like to see the online ordering web interface allow the customer to specify where the "top" of the flag is however because the pole pockets ended up being on the long sides, so we added additional grommets on the shorter dimension top and bottom. We would use this company again but just add additional instructions to clarify the "top" of the flag orientation.

The banner I received was misprinted (Spanish on both sides, instead of Spanish on one side and English on the other). When I tried calling the phone number on the website, I did not reach anything that sounded like your company. It sounded like someone's personal voice mail on a cell phone (i.e. pre-recorded message with the person just saying their name.) I did not receive a response to my email. Eventually, I was able to chat live with Elena and she resolved the issue. The new banner that was sent was correct.

I received my proof about an hour after I submitted it, but I had a question about it, so I didn't approve the proof and submitted my question via the form. It said I should have a response in a couple of hours. This was submitted Friday morning. It wasn't until Tuesday, after I submitted an e-mail questioning if there was anything wrong that I received a phone call from someone. The person I talked to (who I didn't get the name of) seemed to be upset by my asking a question, telling me I refused to approve the proof and that's why nothing has been done. I told him I just had a question, and he was a little condescending in his response to my question. He then told me to get off the phone and log on to the chat for further help. I logged on, and someone connected, but then they logged off, and nobody else ever came on. I received no further feedback or communication until I got my banner in the mail yesterday. Don't get me wrong, the banner looks absolutely awesome, and based on the price alone, I would almost definitely use you again, but I wasn't satisfied with the customer service, as it could have been handled better.

You were almost too fast to make it to print. I called within 14 hours of placing my order on Sunday and you had already printed all but 3 of them. My understanding of the needs for the "hem" was helped by the call, but too late to select it for the banners already printed. You get an "A", but possibly defaulting to the most durable selections or to call out proper use of each style rather than just hem, no hem (indoor, outdoor is an idea) would have alerted me to make a better selection.

They said they could print 12X12 banners so I ordered them... after the order they told me there would be seams in the banner. Not a big deal but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Also, I found an error that I made and even though the policy says that the design can't be changed, they didn't give me any slack for resubmitting my corrected design. The banner turned out pretty much as I expected! Color was great! It's great that the material is so thick in the final banner. I can tell it will last a good long time. The way the grommets were attached surprised me though. Was expecting them to be in the corners, not all the way along the top and bottom with such a long skinny banner. Will just have to remember to request otherwise with the next order, since they went through my design. The only other critique would be that I can see the pixels, despite sending vector art for the printer to work with. It won't be a problem for simple signage though, and it's doubtful the average person will even notice. Overall, am very happy with the results. Would suggest offering general grommet placement in the proofing stage for similar items.

The final print looks great, but because EmpireBanners had such poor response after I denied the proof I missed my clients deadline. I now have a banner that missed the date of the event. I submitted the banner on March 11, 2011 with plenty of time to meet my deadline. The proof was sent to me on 3/14/2011 and I did not accept it as it did not have specifics about the size. I then called EmpireBanners on 3/17/11 when I had not heard anything back. I talked to an associate and was sent an email that instructed me to load my new banner size through yousendit.com. I told the rep I would be sending it that evening and did. After not hearing anything from Empirebanners by the 21, I called and inquired about my order. I was told it was never received and needed to be loaded through megaupload.com. After 4 phone calls to Empirebanners, to get the size issues resolved. I was able to confirm and approve the proof. At this point production was too far behind schedule and my banner could not be printed, dried and delivered to meet my deadline of March 23, 2004. My client, was very unhappy, and my reputation has been compromised. Although the quality of the print is exactly what I had in mind, I will not be using your services again. Your pricing & the ease of use makes this my go to place. The only thing that left me feeling uneasy was needing to specify a due date. If it says 3day turnaround, then I expect it would ship on the 3rd business day. If I needed it sooner, I'd pay for the faster turnaround. I am an ASI distributor & your pricing is better than some of the cheapest vendors in my repertoire in which I get discount pricing on. However, my ASI vendors offer those discounts to resellers only, not the general public. As a supplier, I have to make a small mark up profit to keep myself in business. Essentially, anyone of my clients could find your site & buy direct for less. Ultimately, this is my problem and not yours but I wish there could be a little exclusivity or discount for resellers. I don't think anyone else can do what they do for the price they do it for. $79.00 for a 4 foot by 8 foot banner with pipe pole pockets, grommets, hems and seams all included is difficult to beat! I have designed banners 9am Friday morning and had it delivered for a show by 8 am the next morning! Try doing that with any other banner manufacture. Don't waist the time, pixels or electrons going somewhere else. It would simply be a waist of electricity. * Good communication during printing. * Fast service and postage. * Competitive prices. * The only downside: I would have liked the banner to have been protected better when rolled for transport. Other printers offer a protective padding so that the banner's printed surface does not get scuffed in transit (this could be a customer option, since it no doubt costs a little more money). My banner had a few noticeable scuff marks when I first unrolled it, which were nearer to the outside of the roll.

I feel like you did a great job getting the banner done and to me in a timely manner. I just think that the customer service could have been better by having & giving the correct information. Customer service reps were very polite and helpful. The only thing is that I was told that I wouldn't hear from your company until monday so i didnt check my email til monday & i could have actually got and approved the proof on sunday. Which in a way is better that your company was earlier than reps said you would be. Its just that if they would have let me know that there is a chance my banner would be worked on over the weekend it would have made my decision easier. I almost chose not to use your company based on the answer I got from the chat rep when I asked how long it would take to receive the banner. Originally she gave me an estimate of 2 weeks for printing & shipping to the arrival date & that was quite a bit longer than I was hoping. And when I asked for faster shipping she only offered me the 2-3 day mail instead of 5-6 days & said it would only be a couple days earlier & didn't tell me about the overnite option until I asked. It was a little more expensive but if it gets the product here in the time frame I am looking for, and is still cheaper than the local company's quote I got, it was definately worth it & when only considering the options she gave me I almost paid the extra $120 to get it local than just an extra $54 for overnite shipping...I was very happy with the overall experience tho & most likely will use your company again & recommend it to anyone who needs it. Experience was fine.. the issue I have is that the colors in the vinyl banner were nowhere near the same as in the proof or in the graphic I sent.. It looked like someone had lightened the graphic a lot (a beveled shadow that was almost black in the proof and original graphic was gray in the banner, which told me the graphic had been lightened) as the primary colors were very faded and the drop shadow was pink as opposed to base red in the proof.. blacks and whites looked great - greens and reds were very faded..
