Parades originate from the times of Mesopotamia. First, they were held in the politics and military branches. Later, they spread into religion. Nowadays, parades are mostly associated with different carnivals, fairs, and festivals. In the USA and in New York City in particular, there is a range of parades dedicated to holidays, events, and people. This essay demonstrates that all parades in New York are always held on the highest level with a great number of participants, who are attracted to these events due to the parade banners. There are nearly 12 parades, which take place at 5th Avenue in New York every year (“New York parades,” n.d.).

Well, the first month of spring is colored green, not only because the nature wakes up from long winter dream, but because the Irish communities all over the globe celebrate St.Patrick's Day! St.Patrick is one of the saints of Ireland that had introduced Irish to the Trinity (The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit). There from "The Shamrock"(three-leaved clover) is one of the symbols of this cultural and religious celebration. March 17th is celebrated as the day of death of St.Patrick. On that day every year people celebrate this event organizing parades and parties all over the world within Irish Communities.
